As part of the official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 23–25, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, together with leaders from relevant ministries, sectors, and localities, held working sessions with leaders of two of the world’s leading financial centers: the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). During the visit, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Nguyen Ngoc Canh participated in the sessions and shared the SBV’s orientation on establishing a legal framework for the development of an international financial center (IFC) in Vietnam.
From September 25–26, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea, the delegation of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), led by Standing Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu, attended the 24th Executive Committee Meeting of the South East Asian Central Banks (SEACEN) Research and Training Centre and the high-level seminar jointly organized by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and SEACEN.
Within the framework of the working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 23–25, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh held important talks with senior leaders of the country, including UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, and Minister of Artificial Intelligence Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama. During this trip, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Nguyen Ngoc Canh accompanied the Standing Deputy Prime Minister at events, shared the SBV’s strategic orientations, and explored experiences in building a legal framework for establishing an international financial center in Vietnam.
On September 22, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Pham Quang Dzung received Mr. Okada Hiroshi, Director for Japan - Vietnam Relations at the Japan Financial Services Agency (FSA), and the accompanying delegation during their working visit to Vietnam.
On September 19, 2025, Ms. Filianingsih Hendarta, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, and Mr. Pham Thanh Ha, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), co-chaired the 30th Meeting of ASEAN Senior-Level Committee on Financial Integration (SLC) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
On September 18, 2025, at the headquarters of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Governor Nguyen Thi Hong welcomed and had a working meeting with Mr. Kenji Okamura, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), during his first official visit to Vietnam since assuming office.
