Governor Nguyen Thi Hong
- Exercise the powers and responsibilities of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; direct and administer the overall operations of the entire banking sector.
- Take charge of the following areas of work: institutional and legal framework development; banking sector development strategy; administrative reform; banking modernization; development of e-Government towards the digital Government within the SBV; organization, personnel, and human resource development; office administration.
- Provide overall direction for the State Bank’s role as the representative of the State ownership at credit institutions, financial institutions, and state-owned enterprises where the SBV acts as the representative of the State capital.
- Act as Vietnam’s Governor at international financial and monetary institutions, including: the World Bank (WB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB); the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the International Investment Bank (IIB), and the International Bank for Economic Cooperation (IBEC).
- Serve as Chairman of the Banking Sector’s Council for Emulation and Commendation.
- Serve as Head of the Steering Committee of the Banking Sector for the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and the implementation of Scheme 06.
- Serve as Secretary of the SBV Party Committee.
Deputy Governor Doan Thai Son
- Assisting the SBV Governor in implementing the assigned and authorized tasks;
- Directly directing and taking charge of the following SBV entities: the Department of Legal Affairs; the Department of Banking System Safety.
- Taking charge of a number of the SBV regional branches
Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dung
- Assisting the SBV Governor in implementing the assigned and authorized tasks;
- Acting as the Chairperson of the Council of Payment and Technology of the SBV;
- Acting as the Head of theManagement Boardof the Interbank Electronic Payment System;
- Assuming the position of Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the banking sector for the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and Scheme No. 06.
Deputy Governor Pham Thanh Ha
- Assisting the SBV Governor in implementing the assigned and authorized tasks;
- Acting as the Chairperson of the Council of Science and Technology of the banking sector;
-Acting as the Head of theManagement Boardof the Open Market Operations;
- Acting as the Head of the Management Board of the State Foreign Currency Reserves (except for the areas directly under the guidance of Deputy Governor Pham Quang Dzung).
- Acting as the spokesperson of the SBV.
Deputy Governor Pham Quang Dung
- Assisting the SBV Governor in implementing the assigned and authorized tasks;
-Acting as the Head of the Management Board of the State Foreign Currency Reserves (for the following areas: the intervention options for the gold market; the gold import and export corresponding to the quantities used for the interventions; the organization of the gold bullion production and the conversion of gold bullions and other gold forms to internationally standardized gold;
Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh
- Assisting the SBV Gobernor in implementing the assigned and authorized task;
- Acting as the Alternate Governor representing Vietnam at the international monetary and financial institutions, including: the World Bank (WB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB),theBank for International Settlements (BIS), the International Investment Bank (IIB), the International Bank for Economic Cooperation (IBEC).
