On April 23, 2026, at the headquarters of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh held a meeting with Mr. Jung Sang Hyuk, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shinhan Bank Korea.
Within the framework of the President of the Republic of Korea’s visit to Viet Nam, the Financial Services Commission of Korea (FSC) and the Council for International Financial Cooperation (CIFC) jointly organized the Vietnam – Korea Financial Cooperation Forum on the afternoon of April 23, 2026, in Hanoi, under the theme “Financial Infrastructure – A Pillar for Growth.” Deputy Governor Nguyen Ngoc Canh of the State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV) attended and delivered remarks at the Forum.
On April 23, 2026, in Hanoi, Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) attended the ceremony announcing the launch of the Cross-Border QR Payment Service between Vietnam and South Korea. The event was organized by the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS) in coordination with GLN International, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), and Hana Bank.
