Press release on issuance of Circular No. 12/2024/TT-NHNN
Hanoi, June 28, 2024 – The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has issued Circular No. 12/2024/TT-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of Articles of Circular No.39/2016/TT-NHNN dated December 30, 2016 (as amended and supplemented by Circular No.06/2023/TT-NHNN dated June 28, 2023 and Circular No.10/2023/TT-NHNN dated August 23, 2023) stipulating the lending activities of the credit institutions and the foreign bank branches to their customers.
The new Circular is composed of 4 Articles, specifically as follows: Article 1 amending and supplementing a number of Articles of Circular No.39/2016/TT-NHNN; Article 2 abolishing Article 29, Article 32 of Circular No.39/2016/TT-NHNN and Article 32g of Circular No.39/2016/TT-NHNN, which had been amended and supplemented in Paragraph 11 of Article 1 of Circular No.06/2023/TT-NHNN; Article 3 stipulating the responsibilities for the implementation; Article 4 stipulating the enforcement.
The new Circular takes effective from July 1, 2024.
