On April 25, 2023, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 759/QD-NHNN approving the change of the legal status of Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank One Member Limited Liability Finance Company.
Accordingly, the SBV has allowed Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank One Member Limited Liability Finance Company to be changed into Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank Limited Liability Finance Company. By the same Decision, the SBV has revoked License No. 71/GP-NHNN dated November 11, 2021 issued by the SBV Governor to Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank One Member Limited Liability Finance Company, and Decision No. 945/QD-NHNN dated May 27, 2022 revising the substance on the operational duration in the License of Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank One Member Limited Liability Finance Company.
License No. 71/GP-NHNN dated November 11, 2021 and Decision No. 945/QD-NHNN dated May 27, 2022 ceased to be effective from the date of the inauguration of Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank Limited Liability Finance Company.
Saigon-Hanoi Limited Liability Finance Company is responsible for receiving all assets, rights, obligations and legitimate interests of Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank One Member Limited Liability Finance Company; completing all procedures for business registration in accordance with the laws within 45 days from the effective date of this Decision; publicizing the change of its legal status and inaugurating its operations in line with the laws; implementing other obligations in line with the relevant regulations.
Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank One Member Limited Liability Finance Company is responsible for handing over all of its assets, rights, obligations and legitimate interests to Saigon-Hanoi Limited Liability Finance Company; returning the original License No. 71/GP-NHNN dated November 11, 2021 and Decision No. 945/QD-NHNN dated May 27, 2022 to the SBV in accordance with the laws; publicizing the termination of its operations and resolving all rights and relevant obligations in accordance with the laws; implementing other obligations in line with the relevant regulations.
This Decision took effect from the date of signing.
