Press Release on issuance of Circular No.43/2018/TT-NHNN
Hanoi, December 28, 2018 – The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Circular No.43/2018/TT-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No.16/2010/TT-NHNN of the SBV Governor dated June 25, 2010 guiding the implementation of Decree No.10/2010/ND-CP of the Government dated February 12, 2010 on credit information.
The new Circular is composed of 3 Articles with the main substances as follows:
- Amending, supplementing Point c (viii) of Paragraph 1 of Article 5 (as amended, supplemented in Paragraph 4 of Article 1 of Circular No.23/2016/TT-NHNN of the SBV Governor dated June 30, 2016 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No.16/2010/TT-NHNN), to read as follows:
“viii) Documents of credit institutions, foreign bank branches committing to provide credit information to enterprises in compliance with Form No.04/TTTD issued as attachment to this Circular;”
- Replacing the phrase of “commercial banks” by the phrase of “credit institutions, foreign bank branches” in Form No.04/TTTD issued as attachment to Circular No.16/2010/TT-NHNN.
The new Circular takes effect from February 18th, 2019.
