Press release on issuance of Circular No.15/2020/TT-NHNN
Hanoi, November 20, 2020. The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has issued Circular No.15/2020/TT-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No.26/2013/TT-NHNN dated December 5, 2013 on the banking tariff for payment services via the SBV.
The new Circular was formulated based on the principles of ensuring the publicity and transparency, in line with the market developments and the international practices. Some key substances of the new Circular are:
- Supplementing Article 1b “Fees of maintaining deposit balances for payment accounts in foreign currencies”
- Amending and supplementing Part IV “Fees for international payment services” in the Banking tariff for payment services via the SBV promulgated in Circular No.26/2013/TT-NHNN.
- Supplementing and replacing several Appendices in Circular No.26/2013/TT-NHNN.
The new Circular shall take effect from February 1, 2021.
