On January 13, 2026, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) organized a ceremony to announce and hand over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision of Director of the SBV Regional Branch 6.

The ceremony was attended by SBV Governor Nguyen Thi Hong; Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee and Head of Hai Phong’s National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hai Phong city; members of the full-time National Assembly Delegations of Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh Province; representatives of several SBV entities; the officers and staff of the SBV Regional Branch 6, as well as representatives of the credit institutions’ branches in Hai Phong City.
At the ceremony, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong handed over the Decision to Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung appointing her as Director of the SBV Regional Branch 6, starting from January 13, 2026. Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung was previously Acting Director of the SBV Regional Branch 6.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong congratulated Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung on her appointment, and expressed her hope and beliefs that Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung would continue to develop her capacity, wisdom, experience, and her sense of responsibility to accomplish the assigned tasks in her newly appointed position.
