Press Release on issuance of Circular No.21/2018/TT-NHNN
Hanoi, August 31, 2018 – The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Circular No.21/2018/TT-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 37/2016/TT-NHNN stipulating the management, operations and use of the National Interbank Electronic Payment System.
The issuance of the Circular No.21/2018/TT-NHNN aims at amending Article 52 on the effectiveness of Circular No.37. Accordingly, the new Circular is composed of three articles, specifically as follows:
Article 1: Amending Article 52 of Circular No.37 as follows: the effective date is changed from January 15, 2018 to November 01, 2019; and stipulating that the replacing documents shall cease to be effective.
Article 2: Responsibilities for implementation.
Article 3: Effectiveness
This new Circular took effect from August 31, 2018. Circular No.23/2017/TT-NHNN dated December 29, 2017 ceased to be effective.
