Press release on issuance of Circular No.19/2020/TT-NHNN
Hanoi, 5 December 2020. In order to continue the policy to support the economic recovery in light of the complicated developments of COVID-19, which has been negatively affecting the people and businesses, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has issued Circular No.19/2020/TT-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 26/2013/TT-NHNN dated December 5, 2013 on the banking tariff of payment services via the SBV.
The new Circular extends the 50% reduction of the payment fees mentioned at Points 1.1 and 1.2 of Paragraph 1 “Transaction fees via the Interbank Electronic Payment System" of Part III “Domestic payment service fees". This banking tariff of payment services via the SBV will be effective from January 1, 2021 to the end of June 30, 2021.
The new Circular shall take effect from January 1, 2021.
