On November 17, 2023, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) – Hanoi branch issued Decision No. 677/QD.HAN-TTGS2 revoking the License of the representative office of RHB Bank Berhad in Hanoi.
Accordingly, the SBV – Hanoi branch has decided to revoke License No. 269/GP-NHNN dated October 9, 2008 issued by the SBV Governor on the establishment of the representative office of RHB Bank Berhad in Hanoi.
The Decision took effect from the date of signing.
RHB Bank Berhad – Representative Office in Hanoi is responsible for liquidating the office lease contract and clearing all litigations and debts (if any) with the relevant individuals and organizations; implementing the procedures for terminating its operations and closure of its representative office, returning its Certificate of Business Registration, and handing over its official stamp in accordance with the provisions of the laws (as stipulated in Paragraph 1, Article 18 of Circular No. 24/2017/TT-NHNN dated December 29, 2017, which had been amended and supplemented by Circular No. 11/2020/TT-NHNN dated November 2, 2020); and publicizing the information in line with the requirements in Paragraph 2, Article 20 of Circular No. 24/2017/TT-NHNN dated December 2, 2017.
