On November 17, 2023, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) – Hanoi branch issued Decision No. 679/QD.HAN-TTGS2 revising the contributed capital substance in the License of Bangkok Bank Public Co. Ltd. – Hanoi branch.
Accordingly, the SBV – Hanoi branch has approved of a revision of the contributed capital substance as stated in Article 2 of the License for the establishment of a foreign bank branch No. 1449/GP.HAN-TTGS2 dated July 5, 2022 issued by the Director of the SBV – Hanoi branch to Bangkok Bank Public Co. Ltd. – Hanoi branch, to read as follows: "Contributed capital: USD 150,000,000 (in words: one hundred fifty million United States dollars)".
Bangkok Bank Public Co. Ltd. – Hanoi branch is responsible for registering with the competent authority its revised contributed capital; publicizing the revised substance in accordance with Paragraph 4 of Article 29 of the 2010 Law on Credit Institutions (as amended and supplemented).
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of the License for the establishment of a foreign bank branch No. 1449/GP.HAN-TTGS2 dated July 5, 2022 issued by the Director of the SBV – Hanoi branch to Bangkok Bank Public Co. Ltd. – Hanoi branch.
