On December 22, 2023, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No.2410/QD-NHNN revising the charter capital substance in the License of United Overseas Bank Limited (Vietnam)
Accordingly, Article 2 of the License for the Establishment and Operations of a 100% foreign-owned bank No. 57/GP-NHNN dated September 21, 2017 issued by the SBV Governor to United Overseas Bank Limited (Vietnam) has been revised as follows:
“Article 2. The charter capital of United Overseas Bank Limited (Vietnam) is VND 8,000,000,000,000 (in words: Eight trillion Vietnamese Dongs).”
United Overseas Bank Limited (Vietnam) is responsible for implementing the procedures as stipulated in Paragraph 4 of Article 29 of the Law on Credit Institutions.
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and shall replace Decision No. 1591/QD-NHNN dated October 5, 2021 of the SBV, and is an integral part of the License for the Establishment and Operations of a 100% foreign-owned bank No. 57/GP-NHNN dated September 21, 2017 issued by the SBV Governor to United Overseas Bank Limited (Vietnam).
