Press release on issuance of Circular No. 02/2024/TT-NHNN
Hanoi, May 15, 2024 – The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has issued Circular No. 02/2024/TT-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of Articles of Circular No.17/2016/TT-NHNN dated June 30, 2016 stipulating the monetary brokerage operations of the commercial banks and the foreign bank branches.
The new Circular is composed of 4 Articles, specifically as follows:
Article 1. Amending and supplementing a number of Articles of Circular No.17/2016/TT-NHNN.
Article 2. Abolishing a number of Articles of Circular No.17/2016/TT-NHNN.
Article 3. Responsibilities for the implementation.
Article 4. Enforcement.
The Circular is aimed to implement the new regulations as stipulated in the 2024 Law on Credit Institutions.
