In the morning of June 1st, 2019 in Tra Vinh province, the State Bank of Vietnam organized a ceremony to announce the Decision of the SBV Governor on the assignment of Mr. Le Van Hai - Deputy Director of the SBV’s Tra Vinh Provincial Branch to be the Deputy Director in charge of the SBV’s provincial Branch from June 1st, 2019, replacing Mrs. Bui Thi Sau - former retired Director of the SBV branch. Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu attended and handed over the SBV Governor's Decision to Mr. Le Van Hai.
Speaking at the announcement of the Decision, SBV Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu congratulated Mr. Le Van Hai and expressed his hopes that Mr. Le Van Hai would perform well the tasks entrusted by the SBV’s Party Committee and the Governor; directing and administering the SBV’s Tra Vinh Provincial Branch to successfully accomplish its functions and duties as mandated, and other tasks under the directions of the SBV Governor, with special focus on promoting credit, meeting effectively the needs for capital for production, business and living activities with a view to further promoting the local socio-economic development; building a strong and solid agency, promoting the management role of the SBV’s provincial branch in the local monetary and banking operations.
Mr. Le Van Hai was born in 1965 and graduated from the Economics Faculty of Can Tho University. He started to work in the Banking industry in 1996 and has gone through several different positions. He was previously appointed by the SBV Governor to be the Deputy Director of the SBV Tra Vinh Provincial Branch in 2014.
