On the morning of October 28 at the headquarters of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Deputy Governor Doan Thai Son had a meeting with Mr. Ji Zhihong, Executive Vice President of China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB).
Also attending the meeting, on the side of the SBV, there were representatives of the Banking Supervision Agency and the International Cooperation Department. On the CCB’s side, there were Mr. Zhu Lihong, General Manager of the Financial Technology Department, Mrs. Sun Jianbo, General Manager of the International Business Department, and Mr. Huang Guoyong, General Manager of CCB Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
On behalf of the SBV's Board of Management, Deputy Governor Doan Thai Son welcomed Mr. Ji Zhihong, CCB Executive Vice President and the mission to visit and work with the SBV. The Deputy Governor spoke highly of the CCB as a major bank not only in China but also in the international market, with current presence in 30 countries and territories.

The Deputy Governor emphasized that over the past years, the economic and trade cooperation relations between Vietnam and China have continued to develop and achieved positive results. The economic and trade cooperation is one of the central points in the bilateral relations. China has continuously been Vietnam's number one trading partner, the largest import market and the second largest export market.
Expressing his high evaluation for the operations of the CCB Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Deputy Governor Doan Thai Son believed that the CCB Ho Chi Minh City branch would achieve better business results, actively promoting the bridging role between the enterprises and markets of the two countries, hence promoting Vietnam - China trade and investment relations.

Mr. Ji Zhihong, CCB Executive Vice President thanked the SBV for the attention and support toward the development of the CCB Ho Chi Minh City Branch. At the same time, Mr. Ji Zhihong also expressed his impressions on the successes of the SBV over the past time, in the context of complicated world situations.
At the meeting, Mr. Ji Zhihong also reported to Deputy Governor Doan Thai Son about the CCB's activities in Vietnam, shared about the CCB's business situation, its global strategy, as well as discussed several aspects of mutual interest.
