Press release on issuance of Circular No. 12/2021/TT-NHNN
Hanoi, July 30, 2021 – The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has issued Circular No. 12/2021/TT-NHNN regulating the purchase and sales by a credit institution or a foreign bank branch of time bills, bills, certificates of deposit, bonds issued domestically by another credit institution or a foreign bank branch.
Circular No. 12/2021/TT-NHNN comprises of 7 articles, providing specifically for the following: Scope of application; Subjects of application; Principles for the purchase and sales of valuable papers; Information on the transactions; Internal regulations; Enforcement; Implementation arrangements.
The new Circular will take effect from October 27, 2021.
