At the meeting, the SBV International Cooperation Department briefed on the progress and the work plan for different tasks, i.e. protocol-logistics, communication and information dissemination for the Conferences and other high-level financial and banking events chaired/co-chaired by the SBV in 2020 (it is expected that there will be 37 events, including the Central Bank Governors’ Meetings, the Finance Ministers’ Meetings, the Central Bank Deputy Governors’ and Finance Deputy Ministers’ Meetings, the Working Groups’ meetings, and other sideline events). The representatives of the participating Departments then discussed and made recommendations about the preparation in terms of contents, the protocol-logistics, and the communication in order to ensure the successful organization of the above events.
In concluding the meeting, Deputy Governor Nguyen Thi Hong requested the SBV International Cooperation Department, as the focal point, to continue to coordinate closely with the relevant Departments to undertake the assigned tasks as stated in the Plan on the contents, protocol-logistics, and communication already approved by the Governor, and to regularly report to the Steering Committee on the work progress in order to successfully organize the events chaired/co-chaired by the SBV, contributing to the overall success of Vietnam’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2020.
