On September 21, 2020, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 1684/QD-NHNN amending and supplementing a number of substances in the License for the Establishment and Operations of Home Credit Vietnam Finance Company Limited (Home Credit Vietnam).
Accordingly, the SBV Governor has approved the amendment and supplementation of Article 2 of License No. 90/GP-NHNN dated September 23, 2019 issued to Home Credit Vietnam, to read as follows:
“Article 2: The charter capital of Home Credit Vietnam Finance Company Limited is: 2,050,000,000,000 VND (in words: Two thousand and fifty billion Vietnamese dongs), in which 100% of the charter capital is owned by Home Credit N.V. (with headquarters in the Netherlands).”
This Decision took effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of License for the Establishment and Operations No. 90/GP-NHNN dated September 23, 2019 issued to Home Credit Vietnam; Decision No. 2599/QD-NHNN dated December 19, 2019 of the SBV Governor amending and supplementing a number of substances in the License for the Establishment and Operations of Home Credit Vietnam shall cease to be effective from the date of signing of this new Decision.
This new Decision also clearly requires that the Home Credit Vietnam be responsible for implementing the procedures for amending and supplementing the Company's Charter and the business registration certificate in accordance with the approved charter capital, publicizing the changes, and reporting on the implementation to the SBV (via the Banking Supervision Agency) in accordance with the regulations prescribed in the Law on Credit Institutions and other relevant laws.
